HOTEL INFORMATION

ENTRANCE
The entrance is open 24 hours a day. After 11:00 PM, please ring the doorbell. If you enter the building during the night, ring the doorbell to notify the night porter and show your room key upon arrival.

SMOKING
Kaboom Hotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel. Smoking in your room or in public areas will result in a €150 cleaning fee.

PETS
Pets are not allowed in the hotel. Assistance dogs are welcome.

CREDIT CARDS
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Maestro credit and debit cards.

FORGOT SOMETHING?
Forgot your toothbrush, phone charger or anything else? No worries. We offer a range of personal care products, even the essentials you’d rather not pack. Just send us a WhatsApp message or visit reception.

You can check in and out at reception. For the fastest and easiest experience, use one of our two self-check-in kiosks. During self-check-in, you can also add early check-in or late check-out, subject to availability.

CHECK-IN TIME

Your room will be available from 3:00 PM. Arriving earlier? Early check-in from 1:00 PM is possible, subject to availability.

 Your room is reserved until 11:00 AM. Would you like to stay a little longer? Late check-out until 1:00 PM is available, subject to availability.

HOTEL SUPPLIES

You’ll find a selection of cosmetic products in your bathroom. They look good, smell great and if you run out, more is available at reception. All our hotel supplies are by Wellmark, a brand known for high-quality, vegan and sustainable products with a luxurious look and a social mission.

At Kaboom Hotel, we aim to make conscious choices. That’s why we use glass bottles. They add a refined touch and can be refilled or reused, making them a more sustainable option.

TEMPERATURE
You can adjust the temperature in your room using the climate control unit.

DO NOT DISTURB ME OR I'LL BOOM
Prefer some privacy? Hang the cannon-shaped “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door and we won’t disturb you, unless there’s an emergency. If the sign is still hanging at noon, your room will not be serviced that day. Instead, we’ll leave a bag of fresh towels at your door.

SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT
Help us reduce our environmental impact. Place used towels on the bathroom floor if you would like them replaced. Towels hanging on a rack or hook will not be changed. You’ll also find a tree-shaped door hanger in your room. Hang it outside your door before midnight and we will skip housekeeping the next day, and plant one tree on your behalf.

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY
Looking for the safe? Consider it a small game of hide and seek. You’ll find it next to the bed. It’s easy to use and secure: close the door, enter a four-digit code, press lock and you’re set. To open it, simply enter your code again.

ROOM KEY
If you experience any issues with your room key or lose it during your stay, please contact reception immediately. For security reasons, a valid form of identification is required before a new key can be issued. Lost keys will be charged €100. 

You may also return your room key to reception at any time (24/7). Upon check-out, we kindly ask you to hand in your key at reception.

HOUSEKEEPING
If you have specific housekeeping requests or preferences, please let us know.

COMFY BEDS
Need extra bedding or pillows? contact reception and we’ll be happy to assist.

ELECTRICITY
The hotel operates on a 220V/240V electrical supply. If you need an adaptor, please contact reception.

SOMETHING BROKEN?
If anything in your room is not working properly, please inform us so our technical team can resolve the issue as soon as possible.

BABYCRIBS
Travelling with a little one? Baby cribs for children up to 2 years old are available for €14.50 per stay.

You can park at Q-Park De Colonel Maastricht from €14 for 24 hours. The car park is less than a three-minute walk from Kaboom Hotel.

 We love kids! There’s plenty to do for families in the hotel and around Maastricht.

LEGO
Ask reception for our LEGO box. The bricks and minifigures are ready to move in for the night. Perfect for a quiet moment while the kids get creative. 

Built something amazing? Bring your masterpiece to reception so we can show it off. In return, you’ll receive a small bag of candy.

This special city map was created by children from Maastricht. It highlights their favourite spots, helping young visitors discover the city through local eyes.

Up for a game of 30 Seconds or Twister? You can borrow both at reception.

The absolute quirkiest, most brilliant housemates reside in Kaboom. The walking stick family K. Boom is comprised of Karel, Katrien, Kanye, and Karolien. To make the stay extra special, you can rent a member of the family as a personal housemate during your stay. Crazy? Yes! Unique? Yes! Rebellious? Absolutely! 

For a truly unique experience, you can rent one of them as your temporary housemate during your stay. A little unexpected? Definitely. Memorable? Absolutely.

BICYCLE RENTAL
Exploring Maastricht by bike is easy. At Kaboom Hotel, you can rent a bicycle via MyHotelBikes.

Send us your favourite photo and we’ll create a personalised photo wall for your stay.

Spilled coffee, wine or food? No need to leave the hotel or search for a launderette. Simply visit reception and make use of our dry-cleaning service.

VIVACIOUS ECO CITY SPA
There’s nothing quite like the refreshing feeling of cooling down after a sauna session. Vivacious Eco City Spa, part of The Green Elephant Hostels, offers everything you need to fully unwind: three saunas, a hammam, foot baths, regular and bucket showers, a cooling ice wall and an infrared panel.

• Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM - based upon availability - by reservation only

You can book your wellness time slot at the reception of The Green Elephant. When using the wellness area, wearing swimwear, a bathrobe, flip-flops and using a towel is mandatory. All four items are required. These can be rented at the reception of The Green Elephant.

At NAVISH  Boutique Spa at Townhouse,  you can book a relaxing massage or facial treatment in the heart of Maastricht. Each guest room contains a floor plan showing the nearest emergency exits. Please take a moment to read the safety instructions located on the back of your room door. Our staff is trained to assist guests in case of an emergency. If you have any questions about emergency procedures, please contact reception.

POWER FAILURE
In the event of a power failure, emergency lighting will operate throughout the building. For safety reasons, candles are not permitted in the rooms.
