HOTEL INFORMATION

ENTRANCE
The entrance is open 24 hours, ring the door bell after 11:00 PM. If you wish to enter the building between these times, please ring the doorbell to alert the night porter and show your room key.

SMOKING
Kaboom Hotel is a 100% non-smoking hostel. Smoking in your room or in public areas will result in a € 150 charge for cleaning costs.

PETS
Pets are not allowed in the hotel. An exception is made for assistance dogs.

CREDITCARDS
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Maestro credit -and debitcards.

FORGOT SOMETHING?
Forgotten your toothbrush, your telephone charge or anyhing else? Don't panic! We've got a whole range of personal (even the most intimate) hygiene products. Let us know via WhatsApp or go to reception. 

Check-in and out at reception. It’s fastest and easiest if you use one of the two self-check-in kiosks. During your self-check-in you can also add an additional early check-in or late check-out.

CHECK-IN TIME

If you come to stay at Kaboom, you will have access to your room from 3:00 PM. Can't wait? An early check from 1:00 PM is possible based on availability.

All good things must come to an end. At Kaboom your room is reserved until 11:00 AM. Prefer to stay a bit longer in our comfy beds? A late check-out from 1:00 PM is possible based on availability.

HOTEL SUPPLIES
You'll find a selection of cosmetic products in the bathroom. They look fancy, smell great and - if you run out- there is always more waiting for you at reception. All of our hotel supplies are from Wellmark. Wellmark produces high-quality products which are vegan and sustainable, with a luxurious look and social contribution.
At Kaboom Hotel we are committed to a better world, for this reason glass bottles were deliberately chosen. The glass not only provides a luxurious look, but also has a sustainable aspect since they can be refilled or reused.

TEMPERATURE
The temperature in your room can be adjusted with the climate control unit.

DO NOT DISTURB ME OR I'LL BOOM
You may prefer not to be disturbed. If you hang the cannon-shaped do not disturb sign outside your door, we will not disturb you unless there is an emergency. Is the canon still hanging on your door at noon? Then your room will not be cleaned that day. Instead, you will find a bag of clean towels at your door.

SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT
To help us to save the environment, please place used towels on the bathroom floor to indicate that they can be replaced with a clean supply. Towels placed on the rack or hook will not be changed. In addition, you will find a tree door hanger in your room. Just hang this door hanger outside of your room before midnight. We will skip cleaning the next day and plant ONE TREE on your behalf. 

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY
In case you were looking for a safe: we already though you would be up for a game of hide and seek. It’s there. It’s hiding next to the bed. The safe is easy to use and extremely secure. Close the door, key in a 4-digit code, press lock and you're ready to go. To open it, just enter your code again.

ROOM KEY
Should you encounter problems with your room key or lose it during your stay, please contact reception immediately. For security reasons, you must show some form of identification to the reception staff before reissuing a new key. If the room key is lost, we will charge €100. You can also choose to hand in your room key at the reception (possible 24/7). When checking out, we kindly ask you to return the key at reception.

HOUSEKEEPING
If you have any housekeeping needs or preferences, please share them with us.

COMFY BEDS
Should you require extra bedding or pillows, please contact reception.

ELECTRICITY
The hotel electrical supply is 220V/240V. If you require an adaptor, please contact reception.

SOMETHING BROKEN?
In case something in your room breaks down, please bring this to our attention so that our hotel engineer will attend to the problem.

BABYCRIBS
We would like to make sure your baby has a good night’s sleep. Baby cribs for children up to 2 years are €14.50.

You can park at Q-Park De Colonel Maastricht from €14 for 24 hours. The car park is less than a three-minute walk from Kaboom Hotel.

We love kids! There's plenty to do for kids in the hotel and in Maastricht. 

LEGO
Ask reception for our LEGO box. The blocks and minifigures love to play and stay for the night. Great for you as a parent, 'cause you can enjoy a moment of peace and quiet. Shh.. bring your amazing construction to reception so we can show it to the world and our guest. In return you'll get a delicious bag of candy. 

Maastricht City Map for Kids
This special city map is made by kids from Maastricht. They have placed their favourite places on it, so children who are visiting Maastricht will know where to go.

Fancy a game of 30seconds or twister? Good news! You can borrow them from reception.

The absolute quirkiest, most brilliant housemates reside in Kaboom. The walking stick family K. Boom is comprised of Karel, Katrien, Kanye, and Karolien. To make the stay extra special, you can rent a member of the family as a personal housemate during your stay. Crazy? Yes! Unique? Yes! Rebellious? Absolutely!

Renting a bike in Maastricht is super easy! At Kaboom Hotel you can rent a bicycle via MyHotelBikes:

Any mishaps with coffee, wine or food? You don’t have to leave the hotel or go to an expensive launderette to clean your laundry. Head over to the reception instead and use our dry cleaning service.

FLOORPLAN
Each guest room contains a floor plan indicating the room location for safe evacuation in the unlikely event of a fire or an emergency. Please take a moment to read the safety and emergency instructions which can be found on the back of your room door. If you have any questions regarding emergency procedures, we will be happy to answer them. The staff of the hotel has been trained to assist guests in emergency situations.

POWER FAILURE
In the event of power failure, emergency lighting will come on throughout the building. Candles are not permitted in the bedrooms in the interest of safety.
